Tel Aviv: In a major escalation, Iran has hit Israel's Intelligence Centre and claimed it a success as back-forth attacks between the two nations continues to boil tensions in the middle east. The conflict has escalated after Israel a few days ago dismantled multiple and critical nuclear sites in Tehran.
Ever since Israel's attack on nuclear sites in Tehran, both the countries have launched a number of attacks at each other, forcing the world community to shift focus once again in the middle east.
In the latest escalation, Tehran tried to hit critical military establishments in Israel and has claimed success in bombing their intelligence centre. However, Israel has not issued any statement admitting or dismissing Iran's claim.
Smoke could be seen over the Tel Aviv skyline on Tuesday, amid reports of more Iranian strikes.
The attack comes as Israel appeared to be expanding its air campaign on Tehran and US President Donald Trump posted an ominous message warning residents of the city to evacuate.
Later on Tuesday evening, a massive blast was heard in Tehran, as Israeli forces continues to pound Iran.
Iran claimed that it bombed Mossad headquarters in Tel Aviv and also the military intelligence complex – AMAN in Glilot.
In a statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)'s said, “…aerospace forces carried out a strike on the center of military intelligence of the Zionist regime's (Israel's - TASS) army, Aman, and the Zionist regime's center for planning terrorist operations, Mossad, in Tel Aviv, despite Israel's advanced defence systems, and this centre is now on fire.”
As Iran targeted intelligence headquarters in Tel Aviv, Israel also claimed of hitting multiple sites in Tehran. The conflict in middle easy escalated after Israel launched Operation Rising Lion on June 13.
As per reports, over a dozen people have died so far in Israel after Iranian strikes while Iran says over 224 people have been killed and more than 1200 wounded in Israeli attacks.
The conflict has escalated After Israeli bombed nuclear sites in Iran claiming that Tehran was just months away from building a nuclear weapon, that would have threatened their existence.
Israel's statements were also echoed by Donald Trump as the US President himself said that Yes was indeed close to assembly a nuclear weapon.
In a post shared on X, formerly Twitter, Donald Trump wrote, “Iran should have signed the “deal” I told them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life. Simply stated, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!”
In another post, Donald Trump dismissed reports suggesting that he reached a peace deal with Iran during the ongoing conflict with Israel. Once again taking to Truth Social, Trump posted, “I have not reached out to Iran for “Peace Talks” in any way, shape, or form. This is just more HIGHLY FABRICATED, FAKE NEWS! If they want to talk, they know how to reach me. They should have taken the deal that was on the table - Would have saved a lot of lives!!!”
