New Delhi: Four coaches of the Jaffar Express derailed on Wednesday after a bomb blast damaged the railway track near Jacobabad. The train was in route from Punjab to Quetta when the explosion occurred.

As per initial reports, nobody has been injured in the incident so far. Local police, railway authorities, and senior maintenance officials rushed to the scene for investigation and restoration efforts.

Soon after the blast, social media was flooded with the videos of the Jaffar Express bomb explosion incident.

The incident has surfaced after the same train was hijacked by Balochistan Libration Army (BLA) troops earlier on March 11, 2025.

Pakistani train Jaffar Express was hijacked near Bolan in Balochistan when it was travelling from Quetta to Peshawar with at least 380 passengers on board.

A majority of passengers who were present on that train were Pakistani soldiers who were travelling on vacation.
